Children’s Ministries

The apostle Paul reminded Timothy, “how from infancy you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15).

For this reason we invest much of our time, resources, and energies into our ministries for children and young people. In addition to year-round Sunday School classes for all ages, we have Junior Church services, Vacation Bible School, and an Awana program.

On Wednesday nights during the school year children from preschool to sixth grade enjoy a fun-filled night of Bible stories, verse memorization, and energetic games.  We also sponsor children to attend a week of Trout Lake Camp during the summer.

Youth Groups

Paul also wrote, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12).

The youth group meets on Sunday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Jonathan and Elysia Bergfalk lead the junior high group and Jason Karlsson leads the senior high.

Each Sunday meeting is spent studying the Bible, playing games, and hanging out with friends.  The youth groups also have many activities throughout the year including:  Trout Lake Camp, the annual bike trip, church lock-ins, and Spring Blitz.
